I was once in Brussels, Belgium and had the opportunity to take my guitar down into the "Botanical Gardens of Brussels" where I walked into the heart of the park, took my guitar out and started playiing some songs at the Lover's Fountain. It wasn't long before I heard a siren in the distance and shortly a police car came around the corner, jumped the curb into the park and drove down the walking paths straight over to me.

Children had come out of nowhere and were dancing around me and singing and the cops stopped just on the other side of them and glared at me, but would not get out of the car to walk through all the kids. After a few minutes they drove back out without bothering me. Then it happened again on from the other direction. Same thing. Different police car. Pulled up so close to me, but would not get out of their car and walk through the children to STOP me. So, I kept playing.

Then they left too. I played a little longer and got up to put my guitar back in it's case and get my backpack on my shoulder. But when I turned around to leave... The children were nowhere to be seen. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was as if they vanished into thin air and I've always believed in children angels ever since then. They had no way to get far enough out of this vast huge park in the short time it took to get my gear and start to walk out.

I believe we all need to keep our "inner-child" alive to enjoy the best of life.
